● Bimbisara was succeeded by his son Ajatshatru . Ajatshatru killed his father and seized the Throne.
Kashi and Vaishali the capital of Vajji were added to Magadha, making in the most powerful territorial power in the Ganges Cally.
● He built the fort of Rajagriha and watch-fort (jaladugra) at a village called Pataki,on the Ganges.

Udayin : 460BC-440BC : :

● Ajatshatru was succeed by his son Udayin.
● His reign is important because he laid the foundation of the city of pataliputra at the confluence of son and the Ganges and shifted the capital from Rajagriha to Pataliputra.
◆ Udayin was succeeded by Anuruddha,Munda and NagaDasak respectively Who all were and Parricides.
