Fundamental of computer : Hardcopy, softcopy, input unit & output unit ?

Introduction to computer :-
                       We live in the computer age. Most of our day to day activities are influence by the use of computers. While in areas like science and technology improvements can't be achieved with out computer, it becomes necessary for each and every one of to have a basic knowledge of computers.

What is a computer :-
           A computer is a collection of electronic and electro-mechanical device, which accrpts some kind of data ( expressible in numerical or logical terms), stories the data for future reference, process the data as per user instructions and produces the desired output in softcopy or hardcopy format.

Hardcopy:-
       The output provided by printers is called hardcopy. It is permanent in nature. We can seen and touch it.

Softcopy :-
       The output provided by the monitors is called softcopy. It is temporarily in nature. We can not seen and touch it.

Input unit :- 
       It is the unit of the computer through which a user can filled the information to the computer is called input unit and the device which is used for that purpose is called input device. Example Mouse, keyboard, scanner etc. 

Processing unit:- it is also called as the central processing unit and the main brain of the computer which process all the data. It is called processing unit.

Output unit :- This is the through which we get information as hardcopy or softcopy. Eg monitor, ptinter, speaspik etc.
